Your subtitle is preposterous. You can’t argue against this and claim to be intellectually honest. All they’re doing is presenting both sides of the debate and letting students decide for themselves. If their position is illogical then no one will believe it and no harm is done.
Daniel, thank you for your reply. I am not suggesting that Kirk Cameron (or Tina Yothers or Danny Pintauro, for that matter) be prohibited from presenting their point of view. They are clearly free to do that. But part of the “free market” of ideas that you seem to be describing is challenging– and indeed sometimes lampooning– dubious assertions. Cameron snickers at widely-accepted scientific tenets; why can’t we snicker back?
