Hall and Oates Cancel Phoenix Show In Protest Of Arizona Immigration Law

with one comment

Law enforcement? They won't go for that.

(PHOENIX) – The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that Daryl Hall and John Oates canceled their post-game concert at Chase Field that was to take place following the D-backs game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 2 because of their personal stance against Arizona’s new immigration law.

Daryl Hall and John Oates issued the following statement:

“In addition to our personal convictions, we are standing in solidarity with the music community in our boycott of performing in Arizona at this time.”

Thanks, Hall and Oates, but what I really want to know is– how does A-Ha feel about BP’s response to the oil spill?
