The turn of events in the last few days has been simply stunning. I wondered how the state-run portion of the media would deflect the fact that genuine opposition to big-government policies is out there.
It's all absolutely shocking. A million and and more people show up because they genuinely believe in small government, and they're all smeared with the same broad brush.
It's like the state-run media was just waiting for a chance to use their race trump card.
Unbelievable. But sadly believable.

Federal Government Health care is not a right and is not constitutional, the Republican Congress in 2003 that decided to subsidize private health insurers under Medicaid Advantage, which costs taxpayers an average of 13 percent more per beneficiary than the government-run program. The same Republican Congress passed the prescription drug benefit add-on to Medicare that President George W. Bush so enthusiastically championed, creating the largest expansion of the welfare state since LBJ’s “Great Society.”
And now the Republicans have announced from the Republican National Committee, a brand new “Health Care Bill of Rights for Seniors.”
Will it ever end.
Prescription Drug Benefit.
The final version (conference report) of H.R. 1 would create a prescription drug benefit for Medicare recipients. Beginning in 2006, prescription coverage would be available to seniors through private insurers for a monthly premium estimated at $35. There would be a $250 annual deductible, then 75 percent of drug costs up to $2,250 would be reimbursed. Drug costs greater than $2,250 would not be covered until out-ofpocket expenses exceeded $3,600, after which 95 percent of drug costs would be reimbursed. Low-income recipients would receive more subsidies than other seniors by paying lower premiums, having smaller deductibles, and making lower co-payments for each prescription. The total cost of the new prescription drug benefit would be limited to the $400 billion that Congress had budgeted earlier this year for the first 10 years of this new entitlement program. The House adopted the conference report on H.R. 1 on November 22, 2003 by a vote of 220 to 215 (Roll Call 669).
Marsha Blackburn Voted FOR this bill.

I don't know how you can call Medicare and Medicare Part D and "entitlement" program? My husband and I have had tax deductions for (yes,we do pay our taxes) Social Security almost our whole working lives. My husband still works full time, still pays into the SS system and also has to pay $300/month for his Medicare and Part D coverage. Some "entitlement"! Free health care sure is expensive. Idiot.

You are making this too difficult. It is much easier if we simply define all opposition to Obama as based in racism. It makes the statistical analysis of racism in America much easier also.
Here are the facts. Racism has been rising steadily over the last few months. In recent polls, President Obama's job approval number has dropped from 70% to 50%. This means the percentage of racists in this country has risen from 30% to 50% – a 67% increase in only eight months! Even more alarming, close to one out of two Americans are now racist. We have reached a tipping point. If this trend continues, the racists will soon be in a majority. Now, more than ever, we need the pundits, ex-presidents, and sages of the mainstream media to speak out.

The racism card has always been held as a "fall-back" position in the Obama heirarchy. It is a last resort gambit, usually successfully because it can be uttered vehemently, with increasing passion from carefully orchestrated quarters. And if you can get an old fool like Jimmy Carter to reiterate the idea, why, gee, you're wining on the race card.

And that really is the self-affirming basis of progressivism, which is as artificial and smug an enclave as Hyde Park in Chicago, a place where people are given mid-six-figure incomes for patient dumping, like Michelle Obama, or for slum-lording, like Valerie Jarrett, and that gives them the moral stature to lecture the likes of you and me. Since I am black, how do I interpret this? Since the chart shows that I am obviously a racist, does that mean I am racist against black people or white people? Someone help me please because I need clarification. I would be sad to learn that a black person can be racist against black people just because they think he is a terrible president. But seriously, this is chart is so sadly true. God help our poor country.

Funny chart..
This from my friend,——, a minister and psychotherapist:
Do you wonder what on earth makes paunchy old white guys like Glen Beck accuse our sharp, Harvard-educated consensus-building, moderate President of "reverse" racism against whites. There is NOTHING in his history or his policies that would give evidence for that. In psycho-jargon it's called “projection”. When you have feelings that you can't admit to, you project those feelings onto someone else – most often onto the very person who stirred the unacceptable feelings in you.
Projection is a common dysfunction, and can be observed often in family feuds, such as when an abusive husband accuses his wife of disrespect. What, after all, could be more disrespectful than his own abuse? Projection is not conscious, and so is not deliberate. The person who projects sincerely believes that what they say about the other person applies.
So these old white men have been unconsciously thinking, "Man, if my family and I had been treated the way we've treated Black folks for centuries, I sure would hate us. So here is this black guy with all this power, and well, of course he’s gonna use it for revenge. I would.” Hence the projection: Obama hates white people, because I would hate white people if I were Black.
But Obama is a better man than that, and, I might add, a truer Christian. He has more useful things to do than try to get revenge on anyone today for the injustices of the past. He would rather right past wrongs than continue them. If that sounds more like the Gospel message to you than anything Rush Limbaugh is promoting, take heed. Obama doesn’t hate any group. And neither does God.
I'm just sayen….

Jimmy Carter's comments caused a piece to be written on this very topic, and I would like to use your graphic as an illustration. Do I have your permission to publish this graphic? I would give full credit, include copyright notification, etc.
Our paper is only 5 months old, it is a 20 page tabloid, and 7000 are printed and distributed each month. If you would like, I'd be happy to mail you a copy.
Thank you, and please let me know.

OK, What, perzactly, is a "racist?" Despite the brilliant flow chart and the very serious demeanor of Jimmah "I'm still pissed off about 1980!" Carter, a clear-cut definition of "racism" has not been profered. BUT, the word is usually spoken vehemently and with conviction, so SOMEONE must know what it means!! Anyway, if just noticing – primarily by skin pigmentation – that a person is of another race, is that observation inherently racist? Well, if so, I plead guilty! (BTW, if Michael Jackson hated his own skin color so much that he did everything imaginable to become white, was he a racist?)
Isn't this all so g.d. silly? Pretty soon, however (and this might not be such a bad outcome after all!), the word itself will have zero "bite," zero pejorative meaning. Maybe we should try to neutralize some other currently very offensive words (and also some that are OFFICIALLY offensive) – such as "shit" (actually, we're getting there with that one), "fuck" (still a long way to go), "nigger" (whoops, isn't that RACIST?!?) – well, you get the idea.
Oh, here's a couple more that have lost almost all of their respective bite since both sides of the political aisle have taken then as their own in describing the other side/their opponents: "Nazi" and "fascist." Too bad that "socialist" and "communist" don't seem to engender as much angst as their lethal policies (killing hundreds of millions of people over the past 100 years, for example) would seem to dictate. Guess we're just not as sensitive in some directions as we are in others….

Have you noticed the only people crying racism are white peole? It is easy to focus on the non-issue than to really have true and respectful debate. from what I have read, there are some of you that really need and could use a civics lesson. I would gladly oblige anyone really searching for that elusive character trait called “common sense”. The issue(s) isn’t wheter you are or aren’t racist, the issue(s) will never matter when you all allow yourselves to be grouped so easily. don’t be a rebel without a cause(s).

We were talking about Health Care a moment ago, and after a small-time Republican shot off his mouth and Jimmy Carter mentioned racism, that's all Republicans can talk about now! "They called me racist!" ("they" is a very broad brush stroke!)
That's some brilliant deflection!
Look, Wilson's not Racist, Obama's not Racist, and Carter has a long history of saying stupid stuff. Your attention to this fluff results in the defense of a horribly ineffective and expensive Health Care problem … my GRANDMOTHER debated this Topic in High School in 1944!! I debated it in 1995!! Wow, it is nice to see one place where people can go for solace if they are called "racist."
I wish the libtards could imagine the pain and injustice of being called "racist" all the time. They just don't want to admit that real Americans don't want to pay for the health care and education of all those lazy, shiftless poor people. And they won't admit that those lazy, shiftless poor people are mostly brown or black, and they prefer to live that way. And that we don't want our children playing with the children of those lazy, shiftless poor people. And we don't want to have to ride the bus with those lazy, shiftless poor people. Who happen to be mostly brown or black.

So only white people can disagree with Obama? Nope, not an ounce of racial issues here.

Well I'm black and also went to Harvard, and I think Obama is a complete idiot. He's flushing this country down the toilet. So where do I fall into this flow chart? You can't call me racist…
Oh and whoever did the stats on racism rising because of obama's approval rating drop needs to have his GED taken away. It's actually hilarious the level of stupidity in that comment and the majority of this chain.

"Most of the criticism of Obama is indeed from racists. Sorry that you don’t want to acknowledge that, but it’s true."
Hmmmmmmmm … my opposition to Obama couldn't have anything to do with:
1. Increasing the national debt to terrifying proportions …
2. Attempting to castrate our intelligence agencies which have done a darn good job in stopping terrorist attacks …
3. Substituting government ownership of private companies …
4. Close ties with criminal organizations like ACORN …
5. Attempting to take over the health care industry in spite of the face that more than two out of three Americans are happy with their system and do not want this change …
6. Ignoring our troops in Afghanistan along with General McCrystal while flying off to get the Olympics for Chicago-machine political buddies …
7. Clearing violating the Constitution by taking over such responsibilities as the cencesus, which is legally supposed to be impartial …
8. Surrounding himself with nut jobs and extreme left wing radicals – like Holdren, who says that everyone who doesn't believe in global wamring (me!) should be in prison …
9. Attempting to give benefits of every kind of people who are here illegally, as well as make them citizens – ignoring the wish of Americans, once again, who the last time this was tried were 87% against …
10 Attempting to pass Cap & Tax which will admittedly cause a $1700+ tax increase to the average family and raise energy costs by about $6000/year …
I could go on, but what's the point? I'm just a racist. There is no other reason I could possibly be against Obama and his gang of Marxists.

This is one of those things that I wish I'd thought of. Now that I'm declared a racist, do I have to report to a detention center somewhere or will they just shoot me?

That is sadly amusing. It's a shame how a lot of things fit into the sadly amusing category these days.

For those of you who obviously don't get it: this chart is not designed to show those who disagree with Obama that they are racist, it is a joke about the way these people are treated and how every disagreement is ignored and blamed on racism rather than being seen for what it really is–disagreeing with policies that are all together contrary to the US Constitution, punish citizens for success, and pander overwhelmingly to the minority race, sexual preference, religion, etc…. If I don't want to give my hard earned paycheck to someone who has chosen not to strive to provide for their own needs, that doesn't mean I'm racist just because the man who's idea it is to do so is black. The Dems are the one's who have made race an issue here, not the other way around. This presidency that everyone has touted as finally ending racism has actually pushed back race relations an incredible amount for the short time it has been going on. Dr. King said a man should be judged by his actions, not his skin color. He didn't say black people should be treated better because that makes us even for the past. See the difference? And Jamal from Harvard, despite thinking Obama is an idiot, your statement illustrates this misconception perfectly. Who decided that you had to white in order to be racist? Or even that you couldn't be racist against your own race? You're not even the only one on this chain that says "I'm black, I can't be racist." How does that make sense to anyone?

According to Webster; RACISM – "program or practice of racial discrimination, segregation, persecution and domination". By my observation of current affairs over the last 200+ days of this CY the only attempts of segregation, persecution and domination I have seen have been from this current White House over our Nation.
I agree with the majority of the above comments which I read above, funny, sad, anger, truth etc. I hope we can all remember these feelings during upcoming elections. Remember our current state of affairs runs deeper than just one person, I believe the vast majority of "them" have forgotten who is in service of whom.

Dear rosa gershfeld,
Welcome to America! You seem to have learned quickly. How long must you stay?
P.S. "Shmuck" is generally used more commonly than "shmok," but you're probably too thrilled that you can now freely bash the President and not be thrown in jail rather than learning about our culture here.

OBAMA IS 1/2 WHITE !!!!
WHY IS ALWAYS CONSIDERED BLACK ???!!!!!
WHERE IS THE RACISM THEN?
A WHITE PERSON CAN BE CRITICIZED. A PERSON OF COLOR CANNOT. WE ARE ALL PEOPLE AND FIND THAT THIS GENERATION ACCEPTS ALL OF US AS ONE PEOPLE.
IT IS ACTUALLY THE BLACK RACE THAT KEEPS BRINGING IT UP. YES, WE ARE SO SORRY THAT LIFE WAS HELL BACK THEN, BUT IT IS THE SAME FOR ALL RIGHT NOW. YOU ARE THE ONES MAKING THE CURRENT DIVIDE.
WE ARE SO VERY SORRY, YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED THAT WAY, BUT NOT OUR FAULT, AND NOT OUR FAULT THAT BEGINNING SLAVES WERE SOLD BY THEIR OWN BLACK PEOPLE. HISTORY FOR REAL THAT YOU NEVER HEAR ABOUT.
I AM WHITE,BUT RAISED BY THE DEAREST BLACK WOMAN IN THE WHOLE WORLD. I LOVED HER MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF!!!

Too many forget that Medicaid was an experiment sold as a cost saving measure with Johnson's "War on Poverty".
Instead of Public Health Service clinics who saw everyone for basic health care and billed on a sliding scale based on income, lower income people could just take their "Medical Care Aid Card" to any local health provider and the provider would be paid by the newly formed Health Education and Welfare department. Now, HEW spends 90 cents on every dollar justifying not paying anyone. Health care providers are very averse to taking Medicaid assignment because the rates are low and the federal government takes six to eighteen months to pay.
How about getting the national health care concept back in the hands of a doctor? Give the Surgeon General an the Public Health Service in charge of public health care instea of office workers for HEW?
No matter how you TRY to spin it, a health insurance bill has nothing to do with "health care". Insurance is big business and not a medical skill but a statistical and actuarial skill.

OK, this is the Fox News version.
How about an accurate one?
I’m about to do a flow chart of his genius-to-mor0n converter you know, tracking his brain functions when dealing with low-effort thinkers. Why do you think he stammers? We in the computer industry call it “lag”. Downshifting that far causes a speech impediment.
This will be FUNSIES.
Almost as fun as watching the GOP implode all over itself.
I’m laughing…just realized these are comments from ’09!
At this point in Bush’s term, he was just getting off VACATION and resetting the cruise control to “Halliburton”.
I wonder if these haters are STILL going to vote for Romney.
No, don’t ‘show-me’, I’ve had about enough, the chart worked.
